About the Course
Using Information and Communications Technology has become part of the modern administrative environment to such an extent that it is now an essential tool for all who work in administration but also in life.
The “Get IT” course will focus on developing IT skills as well as focusing on problem solving and how different software can be used to solve different IT problems.
Topics
The topics to be covered in the “Get IT” course are as follows:
· Spreadsheets
· Databases
· Word Processing
· Presenting and Communicating Information
· Internet
The course will focus mainly on developing the students practical and problem solving
skills, but will also involve written activities.
