A former pupil of Dalbeattie High School has scooped a top graduate award.
Cristiano Alberigo, 25, has worked for technology giant IBM since December 2008.
He picked up the prestigious Graduate Employee of the Year Award for all his contributions to the company in such a short time frame. IBM are thought to be the largest student -driven, graduate recruitment company in the world with the awards attracting over 100,000 individual votes.
Cristiano said, “I was genuinely shocked when they called out my name at the awards. It’s great to have been chosen by students and also to be the recipient of the award.”
“IBM’s name and brand were known to me from a young age when I had my first PC. I am delighted now to be working with IBM and am excited by the career opportunities the company offers”
