LOCAL BUSSINESS SPONSERS SCHOOL GYMNASTS...
Dalbeattie High school gymnasts have had a very successful year, coming second in their category in the regional championships and going forward to represent the region at the national championships in Perth. Although they did not medal in the national competition it was a great experience for the girls and should give them great confidence for next year. We have been very lucky to have the support of local businessman Mr. James Kinnaird who very generously sponsored the team with a sum of £280 allowing the team to purchase new leotards and gym shorts. If there had been a medal for style we would certainly have won the gold.
