music, art & drama in london...

BACK
Dalbeattie High School pupils were recently dazzled by the lights and spectacle of London’s West End. A group of forty pupils had a jam-packed four days; they pondered the modern art of the Tate, were brought to tears by Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers, enlightened about the workings of a theatre backstage in Drury Lane’s Theatre Royal, took in a panoramic view of the city from the London Eye, informed about the stunning architecture along the Thames in a river cruise and captured by the modern-day showstoppers of Wicked. The trip was a fantastic experience for all and staff were delighted and proud of the upstanding and respectful behaviour of all pupils involved.
