A few weeks ago the Cluster Primaries all sent their P6 pupils to Dalbeattie High School for a “taster” of what Science will be like when they come to the secondary School.
They set fire to chemicals, added chemicals together to make many different colours and experienced a double period in a Chemistry Lab.
As you can see from the photographs, the pupils had a great time and can’t wait to start their Scientific career at Dalbeattie High School. The Science staff at Dalbeattie High were very impressed with the enthusiasm of the pupils and all thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
The school participating were : Dalbeattie Primary, St. Peter’s Primary, Kirkgunzeon Primary, Palnackie Primary and Colvend Primary.
