Radio Station
This is now the second year of the school radio which is allocated in the old IT office next to the tech department. There has been 5 speakers erected throughout the school; first being at the far end outside the Geography room, second being outside the cloakroom, third and fourth in the canteen and the firth outside the radio room itself.
This has given the radio a significant place within the school and enjoyed by all. The radio gives the opportunity to hear your favourite songs, the daily bulletin and interviews with people within the school. The radio is played during break time and lunch time, with Friday’s being the chart show. This chart show is sponsored kindly by RKDJ.
We have many new faces to the radio this year with the introduction of two new producers, Zoe McMillan and Connor McKillop from sixth year. These two work as presenters also along with a string of new faces from all different years throughout the school.
The school radio also has its very own website, where you can send in requests and where you can email the team.
